What is a _________________________________?                                                                                                                                Discipleship is developing a personal, lifelong, obedient relationship with Jesus Christ in which He transforms your character into Christlikeness; changes your values into Kingdom values; and involves you in His mission in the home, the church, and the world.’

Christ the __________________ or Hub!                                                                        Total surrender to Christ’s authority and lordship is not always a decision made right at conversion, but is a necessary act of will. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Christ dwells through us instead “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20. The Wheel is an illustration of the life of obedience for the Christian.

A. Christ is _________________ —the very center.

B. The weight of a wheel is borne at the hub.

C. The ___________________ comes from the hub. Christ-driven life!

D. The spokes are the instruments through which the driving power is conveyed from the hub to the outer rim. Only with spokes properly balanced can one be an obedient Christian in action, experiencing spirituality and the abundant life. John 10:10

E. A wheel is a circle—an endless line. Our life in Jesus is eternal and ____________________, John 3:36a.

The Rim: _______________________ Christ                                                                                      He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” John 14:21                                                                 Jesus command of the Great Commission closes with, “teaching them to observe all that I commanded you;” Matt 28:20.                                                          “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” Romans 12:1.     Surrendering to Christ is an act of worship. This is Key to understand! Only in Christ can we live the Obedient Life.

The _______________ Spoke                                                                                                                    The Word of God is His direct voice showing us not only who He is, but how to live and interact with everyone around us “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16.                                                                              “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8.

The _______________ Spoke                                                                                            Prayer is the second vertical spoke.
