All people fall into diverse trials and temptations, Christians included. And, he does not say if, in verse 2. And, if I were to stand up here and tell you that all of your life when you become a Christian is going to be rose petals and sunlight, and that you’re not going to have any troubles or any difficulties, I would be speaking from a closed Bible, and from an empty head.
