I Do Not Know What To Say But Be Strong In The LORD! We Overcome the World Part 2 Wisdom Is Yours I literally started off with not knowing what to say to us this morning. But when I opened my mouth wisdom seemed to be the theme. We overcome the flesh the devil and the world by faith. What to know, God IS, Jesus IS the Son of God, and God has sent His Spirit into our hearts. We are never alone and wisdom is available all the time. We are just going to have to trust God and go about our business knowing He will direct our paths. This is an excerpt from Going Deeper With The Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn, Pages 11-12. The Spirit of God is the name of the Holy Spirit associated with power, prophecy, and guidance. We first encounter the Spirit of God by this name in Genesis 1 the very first chapter of the Bible. Add creation, it was the Spirit of God who hovered over the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2). Can you imagine the awesome power that was present when the universe was created? The mighty Spirit of God created all things from absolutely nothing! Later the New Testament tells a most remarkable story about what happened when the Lord Jesus healed demon possessed man who was also blind and deaf. The Pharisees accused him of using satan's power to perform such a miracle. The Lord Jesus, who knew their thoughts, declared that he “cast out devils by the Spirit of God” (Matthew 12:28) (1 Samuel 10:10, 2 Chronicles 24:20, Ezekiel 11:24) The Spirit of God is the Spirit of prophecy, he's the Spirit of power, and he is the Spirit of guidance. We see this as in scripture declares in Romans 8:14 “For as many as our lead by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God.” Just think what it means to know that the Holy Spirit is dwelling within you the same Holy Spirit who created the universe, the Holy Spirit who inspired prophecy, the Holy Spirit who cast out demons, and the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead. He is living in your heart making resurrection power available moment by moment. Hallelujah for the Spirit of God! And Hallelujah that the spirit of God dwells in you” (1 Corinthians 3:16).
