BIG IDEA:
The church doesn't exist for us... We are the church and we exist for a purpose.
Matthew 5:48, You therefore must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect.
1. I am called to positional perfection.
Hebrews 10:14, For by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
2. I am called to ultimate perfection.
Hebrews 12:23, …and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in Heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect…
3. I am called to practical perfection.
2nd Timothy 3:16-17, All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
