John 13:21 ... After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” John 13:27 ... Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”

BIG IDEA:

God allows what he hates to accomplish what he loves.


Romans 8:28 ... And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.



1. Who is Jesus really?

John 10:30-33 ... I and the Father are one.”

The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?”

The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”



2. How can I know Him?

John 14:15-17 ...  “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.



3. What is it that consumes me?

John 17:17 ... Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.



4. What doesn't God meet my expectations?

John 14:6 ... Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
