VISION 20/20

Find Freedom

Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

What We Do: We exist to bring the good news of Jesus to everyone, every day, everywhere.

How We Do It: Find Jesus.
Find Family. Find Freedom. Find Purpose.

(Screen) How can I settle my past, so I can live the future God has designed for me?

John 8:31-32 (NIV) To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Truth that Leads to Freedom:

1.   God is GOOD and the devil is not.

John 10:10 (NIV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

2.   God’s Word is full of AUTHORITY not just good advice.

2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Psalm 107:20 (NIV) He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

3.   Freedom isn’t the absence of BOUNDARIES.

4.   Freedom is when the natural tendency of your life is TOWARDS JESUS.

1 John 5:3 (NIV) In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

Romans 5:8 (NLT) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners

5.   Life is found in Jesus, who did not come to CLEAN UP our misbehavior but to CONNECT us back to life.

John 15:5 (NIV) “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

Galatians 5:22 (NIV) But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV) That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
