EASTER AT SAF

The Best News You’ve Ever Heard

(Romans 5:1 NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace[a] with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

1.           Peace with God.

(Romans 5:1 NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace[a] with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

(Romans 5:6-8 NLT) When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

2.           Loved by God.

(Romans 5:9 NLT) And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.

(Hebrews 9:27 NLT) And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,

(Colossians 2:14 NLT) He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.

(Revelation 20:11-15 NLT) And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. 12 I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. 14 Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. 15 And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

(Romans 5:9 NLT) And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.

(Romans 5:10 NLT) For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

3.           Friends with God.

(Romans 5:11 NLT) So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

(Romans 5:10 NLT) For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

(Romans 10:13 NLT) For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
