Resilient Truths is a faith-based, nonprofit human services organization that funds the communities with the resources that is needed to enable the community. through provision and referrals, we are providing bus fare, vital credentials, job preparation, servicing the homeless, assisting the veterans, transitional housing, group home, affordable housing, funeral preparation, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, respite care, intensive case management, senior resources, food pantry, workshops, financial literacy, investment workshops, education assistance, parenting skills, and Biblical based teaching to empower those in the communities to create a better lifestyle. Resilient Truths has offered affordable childcare assistance to single mothers and middle-income families with multiple children. This is being restructured to implement the regulations concerning COVID. We are also in the process of providing learning centers to hep families with the challenges of those who have special needs. Intervention/prevention programs are also offered for at-risk youth who are suicidal or thinking of going down a path of destruction. Resilient Truths has a staff that serves the community out of experience as well as education. All with a passion to help those in their community. Resilient Truths believes it is a community for communities. The fruit is never for the tree. The goal is to be a resource for families to help achieve their goals for generations in multiple states. Dr. Bell concludes the study on leading self-righteous lives while professing the spirit of Christ. Self-righteous individuals tend to exist in fear of losing control. They have trust issues and must appear that they have it all together to everyone else. But truly they are busting at the seams. Some must appear holier than thou in order to portray they are a child of the MOST HIGH. Using their gifts as evidence but their life does not appear to be in alignment with Christ.

Dr. Bell continues the teaching of being self-righteous as a child of God. The Pharisee talked about all of the works he had completed. The publican repented and received Christ for himself. She talks about how living sin free confirms that an individual can be confident in knowing that they are going to be with Christ. Dr. Bell explained how the Mariners handled Jonah when he brought calamity to them on their ship. How they began to downsize in an effort to lighten their load on the ship, when they realized that it was the stranger whom they allowed to travel with them.

Dr .Bell talks about a spirit of a person that is all about themselves. It is the demeanor of one who can become an individual whom others loathe. Self-righteousness can develop into having narcistic tendencies; if left unintended. Self-righteous people require a lot of attention. These individuals must have things their way. They are not supportive of others and believe they deserve what they want regardless of how anyone else may feel. They stuck on themselves. Self-righteousness will not allow the individual to support anyone else whole-heartedly simply because they require too much attention. Their emotions are seated in jealousy, envy, and even hatred.

Dr. Bell discusses how our thoughts can hinder us in our walk with God. How we believe (worship) things that are not glorifying, nor pleasing to God. Participating in idolatrous ideas are sabotaging our spiritual walk with God. It is walking in compromising predicaments that hinder or keep us out of the perfect will of God. Activities that set us back and keep us continuously going around the mountains (cycles) in our life.

How we are bound by subjecting ourselves toward the thoughts of others concerning what others think about us. Mental oppression is offered by the adversary to keep us in mental conflict and not serving the will of God. In order to be effective, we must learn to shake some things off and not allow it to hinder our thoughts or our behavior.

How not being judgmental is harnessing a personal power. She inquires if we honor the greatest commands. Can we give God our whole heart? Are our thoughts always on the things of God? Does our soul completely belong to God? Do we honor God with self-control with not submitting toward the desires of the flesh? Are we disrespecting ourselves in loving someone else more than we love ourselves?

Whose will are we walking in? Are we walking in the perfect will of God or are we catering to our flesh in His permissive will? We walk in the permissive will of God when we lean toward our own understanding and live in the flesh to glorify ourselves. We walk in His grace and mercy. When we are obedient and walking in the perfect will of God, we walk in the favor of God. Dr. Bell explains how we walk as a prisoner of the gospel. How we are called to do things that we do not want to do but calls us to do them because it is in His perfect will that we do them. We do not understand why or even at times the reason behind being called to do them. But our power lies in our obedience for the glory of God.

Believing and trusting in God can cause the favor of God to rest upon us, in us, and through us. God can speak in the midnight hour. We must have faith and trust in Him to believe that it is all under His control. The ego does not matter. It is all in God. It is not in our own strength but in God. Pastor Ronnie Portis taught on representing God and having a relationship with God. He exposes the traditions that take place in the body of Christ. How some are preaching one thing and doing another. How we are following the philosophy of man and not following Christ. How we are following the behaviors or the flesh and not the spirit of God. Tradition has taught that it is okay to compromise and be hypocritical and be in the grace of God. The world is in the fallen state because the body of Christ is not following the example of Christ. Pastor Ronnie testifies about his medical condition due to his disobedience. He testifies how God has broken him and restored him as he decides to do the will of God. Walking in a way that pleases man hinders you from the power of God in your life.

BEARING ONE ANOTHER

Resilient Truths were in fellowship with Anointed Touch Ministries, Intl. Dr. Cheryl Williams brought the message reminding us that we must “Bear One Another”. We must have a countenance to deal with the faults of others as they must deal with our faults. No one is perfect. So often we wear our emotions on our face, and we carry them in our behavior. She speaks how we may appear to have an attitude, and this repels others seeking Christ away from the fold. She speaks about needing to forgive others and being able to put up with people as people must put up with us. She speaks of the body of Christ needing to make some adjustments in our lives to be able to represent Christ in an attitude that draws others toward Christ. Judging others and not realizing that we may be judged ourselves. Pointing fingers at others as if we have a Heaven or Hell to place anyone. Dr. Cheryl Williams emphasizes the importance of bearing one another for the sake of the kingdom. Putting up with other people for the growth of the ministry. Being able to deal with other folk and win souls into the kingdom of God. Not be combative and tear the kingdom down. Coming together and completing the work that we are all commissioned to do and not be in our feelings or casting judgment on others which causes the world to turn away. If the body of Christ does not appear to have it together, why would the world be compelled to join forces?

Dr. Bell emphasizes the importance of how we represent Christ. Life is going to happen because that is what life does. When life happens, are we still representing Christ? Or are we representing what the world has done to us? When life happens, God is not surprised. In fact, it is safe to say that nothing happens without God allowing it to happen. We may not understand the things that happen, but God does. He knew they would happen in the way that they do. Trust Him. The scriptures teach us that no man knows the day nor the hour that Christ will return. Many do not believe it because we have been saying that for centuries. But we do not realize that every time someone dies that Christ has returned for that soul. We are so busy looking for the clouds to part and we are all “caught up” that we fail to see that Christ has been here for every opened grave. Make sure we are representing Christ in season and out of season. Because we never know when He will part the clouds for either one of us. Blessings!

ARE YOUR GIFTS MAKING ROOM FOR YOU?

Gifts are tools that God has given us to lead other to Him. Gifts are to be used in the world to win the souls of the world. They are normally being used to showcase in the sanctuary. The gifts are for the unbeliever so that they believe. God has a blueprint for us to do in the earth. He has equipped us with spiritual gifts to win the souls and to encourage one another in the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is the Dunamis power that we are to use to lead others to Him. He is the power of God. Allowing the power to sit idle in our hearts is displeasing to God. Souls are leaving the earth daily and they do not know Christ because the body of Christ is not using the gifts that God equipped us to use to win the souls. We need to evangelize Christ through our behavior and not simply through our mouths. Living life as opposed to only speaking about life does not draw or win souls. We cannot hang out in the world and do like the world and expect the world to see anything different in us. Time out for wearing the graven images that symbolize Christ such as the crucifix and prayer clothes while our heart and our behavior is far from Him. Time out for acknowledging God in the worldly scene by speaking about God but the world cannot recognize nor tell the difference between our being a believer or of the world. It’s 2024 and God is not playing. He is exposing the church so we can recognize our spots and our blemishes. He said he was returning for a church without spot or blemish. It’s time to BE READY! The cemetery is where grace runs out.
